Staying with it
According to smartmoney.com, “The
average American who lives to the ripe old age of 100 will spend $3.5 million in his or her lifetime, according to an analysis of data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. A good chunk of that, more than $1.5 million, will have been racked up by your 50th birthday. The following 30 or so years—the average 50-year-old today can expect to live until 81—will run an additional $1.4 million. And the lucky few who make it to 100 will need an extra $630,000. Experts say these high costs of living often come as a shock to retirees, many of whom expect to dramatically cut back on their living expenses as they get older and stick to a fixed budget. Of course, not all expenses come down to age, experts say. A healthy octogenarian with wanderlust might have spending habits more in line with people 20 or 30 years younger.”
Interesting facts—in this month’s issue we talk about Health & Beauty and how to really keep a healthy regimen. It is always in our own good interest to eat healthy and stay fit; this way we can grow old and watch our kids prosper! However, it is not easy and trust me when I tell you; it is a lot easier to outsource all your meals than having to wrap your head around another thing. When reviewit was up close and personal with the winners of the biggest loser contest, it was an eye opener to know that staying fit is very achievable. We spend a lot of money on the outside appearance, but always seem to put the inside off! Whether it is habit, laziness, lack of motivation, or even denial; these are all the factors which we get stuck in. I know I do! However, I made a commitment about a month ago to really become more health conscious; to define the do’s and don’ts the natural way. Every morning, the regime starts off with organic apple cider; check out the health benefits when you start to drink this, increase the water intake, and add some exercise, but set little goals at first so you don’t become overwhelmed. Now, the next time you are out and about or want to do some healthy cooking, try substituting your choices and it will make all the difference! Enjoy this month’s magazine with all the health and beauty tips, particularly, as we enter into the glorious summer.
