Good Times
Wow! The time has flown by and we are all planning our last minute vacations before the lazy days of summer come to an end. As the back-to-school craze begins, we as parents can be faced with mixed feelings—joy, sadness, anxiety, dread, and relief to name a few. While I can say that there is really no remedy on how much you’ll miss your kids once they are back in school, I can only tell you to reflect on the good times of the summer. We all have had a great ride; camping, swimming, playing, traveling and staying up late watching those favorite flicks!
I always find myself valuing the good times with family and friends. My children enjoy our times together just as much as we do, and it just adds to all the good memories that I am cherishing, especially since it seems that every summer the kids grow up in so many ways. Let’s never forget that they mark our own time. So, now onto other memories and busy schedules!
Until next time,
Monette Smith

Swipe. Process. Save.
If you are a business owner, chances are you’ve had to deal with credit card processing in some capacity. Unless you have a PhD in Quantum Physics, it can be very difficult to understand. Even then, it’s complicated.
In 2003, Terry McBurney had just put the finishing touches on a new business plan in which credit card processing was an integral component. He quickly discovered the difficulties in understanding exactly how the credit card processing industry worked. Out of his own frustration as a business owner, he began his quest to learn all he could about the industry and in 2005, scratched his original business idea and formed his first credit card processing firm. His goal? To simplify credit card processing!

Life is Better with Power
To say Ben Herman and Nathanael McCollum, owners of Wired Electrical Services, know a little something about electrical work, is quite the understatement. Having picked up the trade early on from their father who was also a Master Electrician, one could say that electrical service is in their blood. Today they are 12 operating service trucks strong, serving The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Galveston, Katy, Beaumont and all of Houston. With a combined 32 years of hands-on electrical experience, they’ve managed to take their skills and build it into a fast growing service company with a reputation for excellence. And don’t just take our word for it, Wired Electrical Services’ record stands for itself.
