What a Year!
December's Publisher's Note
There’s something really special about the holiday season. Perhaps it’s the tradition of having family and friends close by. Maybe it is also about celebrating community traditions that help us to connect with each other. It is this unity that gives us all a sense of belonging and our communities are known for all the wonderful longtime favorite events that are celebrated throughout these festive times. I am still pinching myself wondering where did the year go? I still cannot believe we are entering into 2012. It’s funny how you always say that each year, but in this case, I am thankful for the continued success of our company. I feel so blessed to have the wonderful support from each community–PR firms, marketing directors, our loyal readers and our advertisers. You drive us to excel our publications and I would like to say thank you to each one of you. Without good people, you have no driving force. My staff, the creative geniuses that they are, I want to thank each one of you because without you we would not be where we are today!
As we approach the New Year, boy, do we have some new things coming down the pipes. reviewit is always changing; just like technology and business, we, too, have to keep up with the changes. Enjoy this sneak peek of our new design with the December front cover, and expect a full unveiling in our January 2012 issue. With personal interviews, editorial happenings and our redesign, reviewit will continue to serve our communities and stay on top for our readers.
So, as we close out this year and we cuddle with our family eagerly waiting to open gifts, nibble on goodies and toast to another year, remember in this world nothing matters without family and friends. All the hustle and bustle isn’t worth it unless you have your family; so, put them first, put these moments in life first and everything else always works out. :)
