Love is in the air!

  February is a memorable month and its celebrations are marked with a hint of romance during Valentine’s Day. This is the day when there is an exchange of love messages with poems, cards, flowers, candy and other simple gifts. It is all in homage of Saint Valentine. Hence, we have brought it back again this year; our quest to find more love connections; to seek couples happily married for over 50+ years! Every year I catch myself thinking the same thing about the loyalty of two people in union and the memories that they share. It is just amazing; we all long for healthy relationships and love. As I read their stories, they all said the same thing- it takes work, patience and acceptance. I guess no matter what you do, you have to work at it and set your mind to that commitment. These heart-warming stories that we share add to the charm and emotion of the soul and I love them! So, remember that special person in your life and steal his or her heart with your affection this Valentine’s Day!

  Another favorite section of mine is our Women of Influence. So many great women demonstrate their innovative and proven leadership which have elevated them in the business world. I often get asked what drives you or how did you start the business? It is simple; when you love what you do, it makes what you do fun! The drive and determination are something you cannot teach. It is built within you. I have met so many wonderful people and I continue to meet great folks all over the country. My inspiration always stems from these people. You learn how to take care of each other, how to provide service that is untouchable, and really let everyone know that you care. Being able to multi-task at high levels calls for extreme organization and, boy, do I strive for organization! However, I am like any other woman who enjoys her family and kids. I nurture them and keep them happy! So, I like to take my hat off to these women entrepreneurs who are shaping our communities. Their accomplishments and contributions are to be recognized, and reviewit Magazine takes pride in telling their stories. These are women whose triumphs and their significant presence in our communities are our own rewards!

  In this month’s magazine, we also feature the rodeo lineup along with the upcoming spring wear and as we move onto the second month of 2012, we wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day. XoXoXo
