October 2011

This Month in reviewit Magazine:
Get Ready

October's Publisher's Note
Fall is already here! The seasons change, the vibrant, colorful leaves fall from the trees, and the birds start to fly south for the winter. With great anticipation, the thrust of the northerner may also soon come right behind to give us that break from the long, hot summer.
October is known as the harvest month and the perfect time for all the outdoor fun. Festivals, carnivals, craft shows, football, and of course, Halloween mark the arrival of one of my favorite months of the year. How can we not plan for the perfect costume; the ghoulish ghost, the playful pirate, the pretty princess, the wicked witch, or whatever character you want to be? Halloween is the holiday to take a break from the everyday stress, disguise your persona and simply have fun celebrating with family and friends. I do!!!
In this month’s issue, something of importance, which is dear to my heart, is the tribute to our wonderful teachers. My own beloved mother, a passionate, hard working educator for more than 30 years, represents the core, like all other teachers, the invaluable service and dedication to the education of our children. We are so pleased to honor all our educators throughout our communities and give praise and compliment to those recognized in our publications this month. Remember, education is the tool of life and our teachers are the schoolmasters for learning.
Now, enjoy the delightful weather with our magazine!
Until Next Time,
